Meet Valeria Guido-Taylor, UT-DRO's New Administrative Manager

Join us in extending a warm welcome to UT-DRO’s new administrative manager, Valeria Guido-Taylor. She will be joining our team at the Radiation Oncology Office on May 16, 2016.

Val, as she prefers to be called, joins us from the University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus, where she has been supporting research operations. Prior to UTSC, Val was managing infrastructure projects at UHN.

This proud U of T alumna lives in Scarborough with her husband and two young sons. Val shared her thoughts with us about working at U of T:  “The value of the knowledge transfer that students and trainees receive at U of T is truly boundless. The most rewarding aspect of my career is working with professionals, both faculty and staff, who are dedicated and passionate about supporting and advancing research and education.”

Val is very excited to be joining our team. “I have heard wonderful things about the staff and leadership at the Department of Radiation Oncology,” she told us over email. “I feel very privileged to be joining the team.” Thanks to her time at UHN and at U of T, Val is already familiar with the work of our faculty. She is looking forward to meeting and working with UT-DRO faculty and staff, and forming partnerships to ensure effective knowledge sharing and promotion of our education programs.
