The Colin Woolf Award for Long Term Contributions to CPD recognizes excellence in teaching, subject mastery, and the ability to engage learners. This prestigious award is named in honour of Dr. Woolf, a chest physician, who came to the University of Toronto after training in both South Africa and the UK. He created the Respiratory Failure Unit at the Toronto General Hospital (TGH) in the 1960s, also known as the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
There are eight annual awards in continuing education that recognize excellence in research, scholarship, innovation, teamwork and long term commitment to continuing education for faculty at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.
Once again, please join us in extending heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Millar on this remarkable achievement.
