Objectives:

  • To understand the basics of an integrated MRI imager and linear accelerator
  • To address some of the dosimetric challenges of the MR-Linac
  • To review the potential benefits of such an integrated system for radiotherapy
  • To outline some of the current physics related research and development

MR-Linac – CNS Applications - Eric Tseng

Objectives:

  • To review ongoing predicate work in moving towards treatment of CNS patients on the MR-Linac
  • To discuss potential applications of the MR-Linac in CNS and proposed future trials

MR-Linac – Liver applications - Laura Dawson

Objectives:

  • To review rationale for MR-Linac in primary and metastatic liver cancer
  • To discuss potential trials and workflow for MR-Linac in liver cancer
