UTDRO resident, Horia Vulpe, recognized for work in global health

The Faculty of Medicine's Postgraduate Medical Education program presented its inaugural Robert Sheppard Award in Health Equity and Social Justice to UTDRO resident Horia Vulpe.

This award was established in 2016 in honour of Dr. Robert Sheppard and recognizes outstanding contributions of faculty members and medical residents/fellows involved in the development and/or implementation of activities, programs or research related to social justice and health equity in faculty development or postgraduate medical education.

Horia has been deeply engaged in global health issues during his five years at UTDRO.
