The selection of applicants for admission to the Medical Radiation Sciences Program is based on a composite score including academic requirements and multiple mini interview.
Academic prerequisites
- A minimum of one year (5 full-credit course equivalents) of university education with a minimum of B- Grade Point Average (GPA).
- For applicants with more than one year (5 full-credit course equivalents) of university education, a minimum of a B- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is required as well as pre-requisites indicated below.
Discipline-specific requirements
Nuclear Medicine
- One (1) full course in Biology
- One (1) full course in Mathematics
- One (1) full course in Physics, each with a minimum grade of C-
- Grade 12U Chemistry
Radiation Therapy
- One (1) full course in Biology
- One (1) full course in Mathematics (or Statistics)
- One (1) full course in Physics, each with a minimum grade of C-
Radiological Technology
- One (1) full course in Biology
- One (1) full course in Mathematics
- One (1) full course in Physics, each with a minimum grade of C-
Multiple Mini Interviews
In an MMI, applicants complete a 1.5 hour circuit of eight, 7-10-minute mini-interview stations, rotating from station to station.

International University Applicants
Applicants attending non-Canadian universities must have completed the equivalent of at least one year’s undergraduate education at an Ontario university to qualify for consideration. A higher tuition fee will be levied on individuals who are not Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
Deadlines

- All supporting documents must be received by March 31
- Interview dates are typically set for mid-April prior to a September start
