About us
The Department of Radiation Oncology, as an academic unit within the Faculty of Medicine, is actively engaged in the education and professional training of undergraduates, graduates, and post-graduates at the University of Toronto.
Programs offered within our department include:
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiation Sciences
- Master of Health Science in Medical Radiation Sciences
- Medical Physics Residency
- Radiation Oncology Residency
- Radiation Oncology Fellowship
- Visiting and Elective Residency and Fellowships
- Clinical observerships
We are fully affiliated with University of Toronto teaching hospitals, but conduct most training and research in two primary facilities:
- Princess Margaret Hospital
- Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre
Our department, the largest of its kind in Canada, has attracted exceptional faculty who have made significant contributions to the advancement of radiation oncology worldwide. With a total of 132 faculty members in several fields, the breadth and variety of expertise within our department is truly unique.
